Planning your wedding flowers can feel overwhelming, but working with the right wedding florist makes all the difference. Garden by the Gate Floral Design offers a smooth, personalized process that brings your floral vision to life with ease. If you’re wondering how to engage Garden by the Gate for your wedding day flowers, this guide walks you through every step—from first contact to your big day.

Start by Reaching Out

The first step to booking with Garden by the Gate is simple: click on the link to their contact form. This form is your gateway to sharing your wedding details and floral ideas. It’s designed to gather the essentials and a bit more, so the team can get to know you and your style.

Fill Out the Contact Form

Once you open the form, you’ll see a few required fields:

  • Your name

  • Wedding date

  • Phone number

  • Email address

Beyond these, you can fill out as much information as you like. We love hearing your stories and floral dreams, so don’t hesitate to share your inspiration, favorite colors, or any special themes. This helps us tailor our approach to your unique celebration.

Schedule a Phone Call to Share Your Vision

After submitting the form, we will reach out to schedule a phone call. This call is a relaxed conversation where you can describe your wedding floral vision in detail. Whether you imagine lush garden bouquets or minimalist arrangements, this is the time to express your preferences and ask questions.

This step ensures that we understand your style and the atmosphere you want to create. It also gives you a chance to learn more about our approach and expertise.

Receive a Customized Proposal

Following the phone call, you’ll get a link to a detailed proposal. This proposal includes:

  • A beautiful inspiration board showcasing floral ideas

  • A detailed list of items and prices

  • Optional items you can swap or add

This proposal provides a clear picture of what your wedding flowers could look like and how much they will cost. It’s flexible, so you can make adjustments as you go.

Reserve Your Date with a Booking Fee and Contract

To secure your wedding date with Garden by the Gate, simply click the payment button in the proposal and pay the booking fee. You’ll also sign a contract at this stage. Don’t worry—this doesn’t lock you into the exact items in the proposal. You’ll have an in-person meeting later to finalize all the details.

Booking early is important because it guarantees your date and allows us to start planning your flowers with confidence.

Relax While the Experts Handle Your Floral Vision

Once your date is reserved, you can relax knowing your wedding flowers are in expert hands. About 8 to 10 weeks before your wedding, Garden by the Gate will contact you to set up an in-person meeting. This meeting usually takes place in our North Canton studio, but if you prefer, a video meeting is also an option.

During this meeting, you will:

  • Review all floral details and flower choices

  • Discuss arrangements needed for the ceremony and reception

  • Plan delivery, setup, and pickup schedules

  • Look over the rental items available for your wedding

  • Possibly see sample flowers

After this meeting, you’ll receive an updated proposal and schedule reflecting any changes or additions.

Finalize Your Proposal and Payment

You still have time to review the updated proposal and request changes up to 30 days before your wedding. This flexibility ensures your wedding flowers match your vision perfectly.

The balance payment is due 29 days before your wedding. This clear timeline helps keep everything on track and stress-free.

Enjoy Your Wedding Day with Beautiful Flowers Delivered and Set Up

On your wedding day, Garden by the Gate will deliver your personal flowers—bouquets, boutonnieres, and more—to wherever you and your wedding party are getting ready. Then the team will begin setting up your ceremony and reception flowers so everything is in place before your photographer starts capturing the moments. After the last dance, we'll come back to pick up any rentals, and we love hearing how everything turned out!

This careful timing and attention to detail mean you can focus on enjoying your day while your wedding florist flawlessly handles the flowers.
